Everything seems broken since v. 1.3?

I'm not normally one to whine - I love the game and spend a lot of time playing it, but there seem to be so many bugs since v.1.3. There have been a couple of patches since which makes it even more surprising that the bugs have not been ironed out, along with some really bad new mechanics. For example:

1. NPC wings are bugged - if one NPC is wanted and you kill them, his 'clean' wingmates can attack you and remain 'clean'. I've reported this in the bug forum.
2. RES sites seem completely broken and this has been acknowledged by the Devs.
3. Assassination missions seem broken - I took an assassination mission and found my target in supercruise (a Novice anaconda) but it was quite literally impossible to get behind him to interdict. Had to abandon the mission.
4. 90% of NPCs seem to be Harmless, Mostly Harmless or Novice.
5. Crazy 20t limit on the amount of cargo that can be dumped. I was mining and accidentally jettisoned all 90t of my cargo - gold, palladium, you name it. Thanks to this mechanic only 20t survived and the rest was destroyed instantly, including all my limpets which meant returning to the dock.
6. Speeding mechanic which means that every time a cop flies into you while scanning you you get a fine.
7. Shield recharge mechanic that means shields take forever to recharge, even when docked.

I'm sure I could go on and on. I can't speak for Power Play because I've not really tried it, but the game feels broken right now. Things have really taken a step back and so many of the improvements introduced in 'Wings' seem to have been reversed or are bugged.

I really hope these things get sorted soon!

He's trying to avoid being interdicted! Accelerate away and come back or something, I've always managed to catch them!

Is this post irony? When does this ever happen??

Not excusing the problem but you can try flying straight, often your assassination target will interdict you.

They broke a lot, but on the bright side, they released an xbox exclusive arcade mode!

HA LOL , yeah , ED not anywhere near been a MMO , just an arcade space sim , can't see ED improving on that , as the solo/open issue has never been dealt with and now PP is on top of that too. When I play, if I play these days, I'm in a private server in a RES, bounty hunting , but fast becoming uninterested.

Here's a nice one I got tonight. Mission, kill 8 faction enemies in combat zone in system (cant remember). So off I trot. Lo and behold, no combat zone in the system.

Abandoning that cost a nice chunk of rep

1.3 is the most bad thing that FD could imagine for ED: making it a stupid board game with stupid characters!
And doing ED for consoles is the second most bad thing. Doing a board game fir console. We will never see nothing else; FD will be busy for years on fixing the xbox title.

Oh look disingenuous complaints on the forums, it must be a day that ends in "y".

1. RES is indeed broken so are CZ's. High/ low intensity should reflect the calibre of npc's.

6. Speeding should not be a problem: don't speed or don't fly into npc's. I've not altered how I fly, exit the station, at 100ish so over the limit, then boost until clear for sc/ jump. I didn't even notice the speeding change until reading about it on here.

To add:
7. Combat missions in systems without CZs
8. Fed/ Imp rank progression - can't believe this is still a mess. I have no real complaints with PP or xbox, but to have put all the effort into those projects and left this unfinished is sloppy and unprofessional.

Im an Explorer, I wouldnt know if any of the above are bugged, because i dont use them, that includes Wings & Powerplay. Be thankful that your trades are being developed in the game.
All us Explorers see is a tweak here & there, then we get issues when updates are added even though the updates have little to do with our trade. At least i can now move between systems without having to re-load the game!

Still the best game Iv played despites it's little flaws!

I think they made it easier for explorers to sell their data. Beyond that, I'm pretty sure the double scan is still a problem (not seen the fix in the notes).

Hmm. This could be a double edged sword. MS were obviously (and imo rightly) impressed by the fantastic game concept and general play, but they might not be so tolerant of the bugs and other pproblems.

So this could mean MS apply some pressure and a lot gets fixed but it might be xbox that gets fixed at the expense of PC!

elite is a arcade.....shame... could have been a great game.
Now i have found a new game, still in development early alpha. But a proper space sim, with proper space physics. It is called "Rogue system" check it out.

I'll find out about selling data when i return from the core, in about 6 weeks time, but double scannning can be a tad annoying at times & is an example of an issue that has gotten worse since it was reported in April.

You found a side badder than mine of the same medal.
I agree; PC user will pay for the release of the xbox version in terms of longer time to fix issues and infinite time to release "real" contents (like the one awaited and described in the longest thread of this forum)

Hope that Star Citizens will be better!!!

There was also an issue just after 1.3 that they lost everyone's location data and transported people back to the last non-hostile station. Now, this wasn't too bad for most people who weren't out beyond Sag A...

Can anyone tell my why my throttle goes to the stops 15 seconds before I get to a Station in Super Cruise mode? Even if I pull the throttle to 0 it keeps going faster until i completely pass the station. On the other hand I've gotten good at loop-t-loops . that seems to kick the throttle out of "stuck" mode. Feels Like I'm driving a Pinto with a defective gas pedal....

3,5 and 6 all seem to be much more of an 'end user malfunction' than an issue with the game.

That said there are still some crazy bugs, couple more to add;

- Hudson bounty bonus doesn't appear to be working
- Fed mission progression still not working

Yeah, i read about that....that would be more than annoying to lose all your data due to that bug...I'd have to make my way back to the core again!!
