Powerplay.......... for me the least interesting subject to be covered, but the best Q&A session to watch, probably because Sandro was involved, can communicate well, and knows his stuff. I'm afraid I found the others I've seen a bit naff.
I mean it still doesn't appeal to me, why would I pledge my allegiance to a cartoon picture of a political cliche, with a thin description attached when surely, being a rugged independent individualist is what Elite has always been about - but its nice to see it broken down pretty well, at least.
Its like somebody grabs you and says, "Let's make babies!" - there's no seduction. Perhaps that's it, and if we'd been introduced to Powerplay through a sequence of story based missions, that had led us towards the decison to pledge (or not) it would seem less like an indecent proposal, or a bolted on sub game.
