Does anybody think that a new Evochron will be made especially with a resurgence in space sims\games? if so what would you like to see improved and added

Who knows... maybe.
But if ED and SC are successful, he'd probably have a tough time pulling any space-sim fans away from those.
Although I get the impression that this guy does it because he enjoys it, so he might be making another version already.
Spot on mate,yep i believe its his love and thats why he does it..I myself havent purchased ED yet,ive watched Insonona,s and Scott Manleys videos amongst countless others.
Ive been watching the forum for weeks and just basically trying to suss out ED,ive seen a lot of good and also bad points about it and so im gonna hang on a little bit longer.
SC i know is a couple of years away yet so ive got plenty of time for that game.
A sequel or even a really good expansion pack for Evochron and i would be instantly excited..the only thing that does bug me at the moment is that the planets seem "Small"
in comparison say to what ive seen in ED and maybe even in pioneer etc..

I didn't know a new game was happening until now. Nice. I'll try it out for sure when it's out. EM is flawed but for a guy who did it all by himself, impressive. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Shawn Bower. I played EM for many many months all in total starting something like 4 years ago. Hell i was playing it again late last year, before ED came out.

I still play from time to time. But its good to hear there's a new game coming. I like this dev, I think he is a one man band, or used to be. Nice stuff, look forward to it.
I heard about Evochron Mercenary about five hours ago, bought it and now have played 3 hours straight, just AWESOME. So far I honestly think this is BETTER than Elite Dangerous. I've played ED over 100 hours and love it, but this does so many things better than ED that it is almost hilarious. Glad I found this gem. Infinite respect for the creator, definitelly looking forward for that new game!
