...because I have a lot of other game titles I would like to play, but now every time I have some time to spare, I play Elite. Because, you know, that is the game I would like to play the most.
So dang you, FD, for giving me Elite: Dangerous so I can't check out my other game titles any more!

My Xbox 360 (and my other PC games) are wondering what they have done to offend me! They haven't been played since Christmas!
Well I think its an excellent game, just wish the internet wasn't so toxic about things and I hope the devs aren't getting put off by it.
Just keep at it and continue to make this great game even greater, without working yourselves to death that is

Infact, I just bought Twitcher 3, and I have to force myself away from Elite to play it.
Right now, I am playing around with different weapons on the Diamondback scout and loving it so Geralt will have to wait.

People also need to remember that even as enjoyable as many of us find the current state of gameplay, it is rather bareboned and Frontier acknowledges that. Wings really should have been in at release. Anyhow, as more features are added I think the steak will get rather juicy.

Overall, I really enjoy ED and I'm glad I helped make it happen during the Kickstarter. I am however concerned at the current direction (no big fan of powerplay) and the missing DDF features. Yes there are a pile of bugs, a lot of missing content and the missions need to be sorted out so they actually feel meaningful but there is a great game underneath it all.

Yes, this is a good game, and I've already got more playing hours out of it than most other titles in any price range.
The only game that's taken more of my time is a FPS called STALKER, which is the perfect compromise between mod'able sandbox, and story-lead adventure.
Back to Elite: I confess that PP leaves me cold, as it's not what/how I want to enjoy my time. But of course, that's fine, I can just ignore it.
The rest of v1.3 has suddenly made space feel a whole lot more alive, and with the richer diversity of medium-price ships (most specifically the Diamondback Scout) I find myself playing missions that seem like fun rather than worrying about how many CR/hour I'm getting for trading X from Y to Z, and A back from Z to Y in my largest-hold ship.
