Exceptional scrambled emission data

Evening Cmdrs, I'm currently flying in and around Flesk, on approaching the elw Gaia mai i went into a uss, inside was what looked like the remains of a clipper. I've scanned the beacon and it's given me some info which it says This data needs to get to the right people? I've docked at the local ports etc there doesn't seem to be anything to do with said data. Has anyone had this themselves that could shed some light

Exceptional scrambled emission data is used for engineering. I've never seen a message saying that something needs to be done with it. Can you post a screenshot?

Hi purple, same myself I knew it was for engineers but I've never had messages come up before, in fact I found two wrecks all of which once scanned I had messages I'll try and log in on my laptop it seems to be playing up or could post a screenie. Another one says within the message " Decoded emissions files, attached files exceed operational protocol size[decoded emissions tables]
Possible cyber threat detected in this data open only within a secured environment! I recognise the engineer data just never had these messages

That's just flavour. Every type of data you pick up for engies is supposed to be a scan of something in the game. Someone's work, a journal, hack, etc. So each bit of data has some text to go with it. Do it enough times and they start to repeat on you.

Thanks for your responses and clearing this up for me, ive engineered all my ships and never seen these before. Maybe it's because I've never really scanned within uss's before hence my surprise at said messages.
