Excessive heat affecting ED?

Currently the UK is experiencing a random heatwave, some times it really hot others its cool.

Over the last week or so I have been experiencing random problems connecting to the servers from 'connection to transaction server errors' to a weird one tonight where I got in the game but comms was down with a 'Failed to connect to comms' error in the chat log OVER and over again.

Anyone else having more issues with ED than normal?

Don't worry, once that pesky ice cap is gone and the thermohaline current shuts down, the UK will get much colder.
