Exhibit underneath the earth

Ive seen so many great exhibits here, so i also wanted to try something special. I wanted to check out, how much freedom the game is giving to the players. So, what about an exhibit underneath the earth? I looked for an animal thats living underneath the earth most of the time and i came to the chinese pangolin.

At first i made a huge hole and looked how deep i have to get, to be able to put some ground about the path going down to the exhibit. The path system was the most difficult (like always :p). Then i build a a house around that path and connected the coming exhibit with this building. Now youre entering the building (2 entrances), going down all of the stairs and reach the viewing area of the pangolin-exhibit. I also build some shops and a toilet upstairs to make it look a bit more natural. I still have to do some decoration, especially in the viewing area in basement of the building. I also put some staff-buildings down there hidden in the background beneath the exhibit.

If you have some question just ask or tell me some critics or ideas, havent finished the whole thing yet :D

Very cool! Love the idea! I tried building a burrow for mine but the game freaked out saying they had escaped everytime they into it

I love this idea, one suggestion is to add a good amount of lighting into both the habitat and viewing area as is appropriate. You wouldn't shut the animals away from all daylight, and if you at least pretend it is real you would also need some artificial lighting for the plants to survive. And the first guest that falls on their face in the dark is going to sue your rear!

This is a really great idea! This is making me think that an underground (viewable) aardvark, warthog, or African wild dog burrow might be fun.

Are there lights in the exhibit?
