Thanks to all commenters for a minor threadnought and stimulating discussion which managed to go the course without lockage. Glad the results turned out similar to the official poll. I kind of feared what would happen if they didn't match! Tin foil brigade would have come out in force.

Anyway hopefully this will put this particular debate to rest for a bit.

I voted to have a timer.......I have seen and done some cool magic tricks in the past in this game.......instant ship transfer for me was too much of a immersion breaker....but wouldn't stop playing if instant.

Ship transfer should be a tool for ship transfer, a fleet manager, not an exploit to faster traveling through the galaxy in the exploration ship.

There is no poll cosmo, there is a small group of loud folks who want want want somethin now now now. this is called a terrorism of minority what they are doing. Small group in small circle is saying over and over the same to proof their right over the majority. They are outnumbered so they are talking over and over the same thing.

Majority in most cases 'just votes' and leave. Or do not want to waste time on discussing with small number of people, thats why always the majority is silent and polls are representing thier numbers.
