Exobio: the infinite hunt for Tussock

Hi,
I am searching for Tussock on this rocky moon. I swear I have been searching everywhere, equator, poles, deserts, rocky mountains, etc.
I have easily found the other two species (a fungus and a frutexa), but the Tussock is particularly elusive.
Please see the attached screenshots.
Where do I search?
Thanks

Hi,

I would head for the lower lying areas, not the hilly bits. They can be tough to spot from your ship; I’d suggest landing and having a look around. Also, use the scan tool on the bio scanner. Good luck!

Usually they are on the plains, but hard to see. For me they don't even spawn in until I'm really close. I fly with the belly of my ship almost scraping the surface, at about 25-40 m/s.

Good luck.

Depending on lighting I have occasionally landed and then found myself on a Tussock patch after disembarking that I hadn't seen from the cockpit. But yeah, Tussock grow on flatlands.

I know that this won't help in any way but, should you finally find it, as soon as you've scanned the third and last specimen, you'll take off and right behind that low hill you'll find an endless field of tussocks.

It's always like that.

Tussock is often tiny and won't show from a height that reveals other bio, land or hover a few meters above the surface and use the free cam to scout around the ship just above the surface, you probably won't see it while moving or above 4 or 5 meters off the ground, get down low, even get out and walk or drive around in the SRV if you have one. Chances are you will land and end up walking out into a patch of tussock you landed directly on, the number of times that has happened to me is surprising.
