Exobiology bonanza!

437 million credits for a 32 bodies system that was undiscovered.
Had x2 7 biologicals
x2 6 biologicals
4 biologicals
2 biologicals
Got promoted to ecologist
Took hours!
Several hours later edit::
Do think exploration needs an easy fix.
Full FSS scan followed by full DS scan should result in a premium payout for full disclosure of a given as yet undiscovered system. This would also include all geological and biological discoveries too.
Fail to do any given component. You don't get the premium

Often when I find a system like that I'll go for the heavy hitters and ignore some others, especially if each planet has basically the same offering +/-.

My personal best for one system is just under 1.5b, and I posted this not so long ago in the exploration thread for anyone looking for biologicals to boost their rank;

Adding it all up it comes to between a value of 1.86b and 2.2b credits worth of bio data

Wow.. wish I'd not been playing that other game about then hehe. Rather sillyish the ranking is dependant upon credits earned ie hand in and receive 3 billion credits you get a rank up etc.
Wouldn't it have been better if rank was increased by merit rather than volume?
Ie newly discovered species and variants and in new discovered systems (which you currently do get via credits)
Just seems an odd way of ranking it.
I'm not doing it because I need the credits I'm doing it for the rank, and cos l enjoy it.

Well the good news is the galaxy map still shows that none of the planets in that system have been landed on, the riches are all still available!

Ohh...I'm in my dbx jumperthon.
Mapping a stratum rich (they pay mega bucks) region.. ill take a look see how far away it is. Thx for the heads up!

It's practically in the bubble, only 3kly out towards the core! Would be good to see someone get a good score from that systems, it's the best I have ever seen for exo!

Yup I'm 3.5kly in the other direction but I've stripped out the dbx for a jumpathon. Just under 8kly hehe.
I'll head over today. Won't get there till tomorrow due to work shifts

Yes all ranks other than ship combat suffer from having the rank determined by credits received rather than the activity itself which only makes sense for trading and caused problems with exobiology when they unbalanced it.

Went there (and back) this evening, and indeed it is still completely unscanned. There is at least one whole Exo Elite in value there (still) if not 1.5. I went there looking for species I have not scanned before, not for ranking or money, but I scanned ONE high value world for old times sake, and a low value one, and got nearly 400K for these two, the rest are probably worth at least 1B, if not more. You should definitely do it. Try the neutron highway there, if you haven't before, cuts the travelling by a lot.

Well there were up till a few hours ago, I could almost see them jumping into Witch space to get there LOL
That probably was me, I left at about 10:15 pm, a little more than an hour before your comment, I'd just scanned one high value world and one low value, the many other high value worlds are still there for first footfall and exo scanning. When I left there was no one else there and all other worlds were still pristine, so don't think it has been overrun with exobiologists.

I'm in an area where on average I'm getting 200 million upwards per 1 of 3 to 4 systems scanned. Reckon I'll stay put.
Again I'm not doing it for wealth only for increasing rep

If you do consider, If you look at the traffic log on EDSM, there has only been one visitor in the last 24 hrs - me, and I did not visit most of the high value exo worlds, there are maybe 8 to visit. No one is "racing to plunder" this"
I count three worlds remaining at ~70million value and several around 30 million, all first footfall, these will give over 1billion with first footfall bonus.
I scanned about 70mill (one world and 2 from a low value world) for the 1 1/2 worlds and got 368,509,615 total with the first footfall
