Exobiology Samples

Lately I find myself wondering how many bio samples I have and is it worth a trip back to a starport. It would be nice if there was a display somewhere that I could look at and get a count, perhaps on the cockpit right hand screen (inventory tab maybe?).

This is the same as cartographic data: one does not know how much has been logged until sold.
I agree that it would be nice to know how many samples are currently stored and ready to be sold.
