Proposal Discussion Expansion Pass

Forgive me if this is covered somewhere already. I tried to search for it, but didn't find what I was looking for.

I missed the availability of the expansion pass by just a couple days. I'm REALLY hoping it will be offered at least one more time before the game goes live. Please?

Anyone have any additional info on whether or not this might happen? If not, I'd certainly like to propose that it be considered. Thoughts?

nope aint happening, everyone had 17 months to purchase it, but I wouldn't worry about it, im guessing you wont see the first expansion until july next year and then again the following year. you will only be saving a few quid anyway as im guessing expansion will be £15 to £20 anyway. so even if you got the expansion pass now you would only be seeing a saving in a few years.

That's the sad part. I didn't have 17 months. I LOVED Elite when I played it 30 years ago. But somehow the fact that it was being reborn was unknown to me (probably because I've been absorbed in the world of MMORPGs) and Elite: Dangerous didn't come onto my radar until just after the expansion pass availability ended. I jumped in as soon as I found out about E: D, but it was too late for the pass.

As you said, I guess I'll just have to buy the expansions as they become available. I just hope you're right and they won't cost a lot. In the MMORPG world, an expansion pack is like buying a new game.

I know what you mean...I've been waiting for this game for decades - so kept checking online and hearing 'soon' - then one day I found out about the kickstarter campaign - I was lucky!

I'm hoping frontier returns, this product to the store I want to buy the expansion pass so badly, make a poll, maybe they put it again on the store:smilie:
