what will the price of the expansion(s) ?
would like to know before Dec.6 if possible
Pretty difficult to say really since the actual game isn't even released yet.what will the price of the expansion(s) ?
would like to know before Dec.6 if possible
My estimate would be
39,90 £ for the basic game (without planet landings, without avatars) ~2014
19,90 £ Expansion 1 (planets) ~ 2015 (?)
19,90 £ Expansion 2 (avatars) ~ 2016 (?)
= 79,70 £ Total
so.. no real benefit of the 80 £ package?
they really need to announce the pricing scheme prior to Dec 6...

Well you've answered your own question then. We don't have any more concrete information than you.My estimate would be

Also, I think that saying Expansion 1 (planets) and Expansion 2 (avatars) is somewhat oversimplifying it
There will certainly, many small improvements, with regular extensions.
they can´t seriously plan to cash in on every PATCH, and call it "Expansion"
In MMO terms an expansion is a huge and significant content addition
I assume this is not going to be a "pay per bugfix" monetization scheme?
Other companies need somewhere between 1-2 years for releasing actual "expansions"

Maybe "DLC" is a better term for what they are actually planning. And the pricing should be anywhere between 9,90 and 19,90
And don't forget some other non-controversial ones likes Crafting, Guilds, Asset owning and fleet management...
what exactly is your problem...![]()
Using WoW as an example:How much are expansions for most mmos?
