I was wondering if anyone can help me out in regards to the the factions in a system and the states they can be in.
The system I'm in at the moment is an Imperial system quite isolated in the middle of federation space. The main faction has
an influence around 85-95% and its state is displayed as 'expansion'. The detailed description of the faction says they're in the
process of expanding their influence outside of this system.
I was pretty excited about this because the idea of helping a faction expand to nearby systems and possibly take over those
systems is really really cool, but when I checked the surrounding systems I couldn't find that faction in any station. There is a
chance though I suppose that I may have overlooked a system.
Does anyone have any greater knowledge than I about how this state of expansion works?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
