Almost changed my mind about 1 or 2 SRVs 
Stupid me, ran out of fuel because I forgot what happens with SRV when it happens.. you should see the panic.. 4.5 minutes of oxygen and (because of the panic I might be wrong..) no ability to repair or refuel the SRV.. re-called the ship and luckily managed to board it, when I deployed again.. when the SRV was lowering (still on life support - 3,5 minutes left), I managed to refuel.. and all ended well....
Still sweating, considering how far I am from civilized worlds

There's a cosmetic benefit to two SRVs....you can have them in different paint jobs. Minor thing but when you're away for months on end, it's the little things
