Hi, its been a while since I did a multigun & frag cannons. When I did my frag cannons lvl 3 I was getting experimental every single time. I have just now upgraded all my multicannons to lvl 5 but never got a singe experimental effect, so has this been changed to a random event? If so getting corrosion, incendiary & thermal would be random? Thanks
If you were getting experimentals every time I would suggest you were doing the modifications in the beta (Or just extremely lucky
) where the percentage chance was set at about 75% (to "Win") .. during that Beta the percentage was dropped down to 10% (as it is in 'Live' now)You now have an option to call in a favour from the engineer after you have rolled your upgrade to spend Reputation points (Your current level with the engineer) to choose an experimental to add to your roll. Remember that your current level with the engineer will drop (If you are at LvL 5, that will drop to LvL 3 say)

Hi, I havent used any of the beta`s since the games release, the first lot of guns were before 2.2 so I guess that would make sense exp`s every time, I have noticed the 10% chance to add extra effect. I tried the ask favor opion, got what I wanted so that made it instant lol, yea costs alot more to get back to lvl 5 and with 7 guns to do lol
You must have been SERIOUSLY lucky to get Exp's every time, as the 10% chance was in from day one of the engineers launch!
