Expired reports for ongoing issues

I don't know what this means, when a report expires.

The issue I went over there to report, frequent franchise server disconnecting during play, seems to be getting worse lately. Many other reports have been made about it, but they keep expiring. What does it mean when an issue expires, and what criteria do the developers use for investigating an issue reported on the issue tracker site versus simply letting it expire?

Issue tracker works like this:
Player creates an Issue
Other Players need to Confirm that issue (add reports to it)
After reaching a certain number of confirmations the Issue move to Voting status and other players can Vote for it to raise it's priority.

The problem with this system is players usually dont search for Issues already created and create a new one, eventually leading to each individual Issue to expire.

If you want to raise awareness of the said issue, you can create a forum post about the problem, link the issue tracker link (already created) and ask people to confirm, then to vote for it.

Reports expire automatically with each update unless several users confirm the report.
3 users to be precise. Unless you're an Elite player in which case you need 10 users. Lol.

The issue tracker is lacking on many fronts and has been a point of criticism for a long time now. Sadly, it doesn't seem that much us happening to improve it, at least from users point of view 😞

Well, I searched for this issue, and there were lots of expired reports, so I created a new one. If anyone is still having this issue of the franchise server randomly disconnecting during play, even when one's internet connection is just fine, please add to the report. It's been a thing since, well, forever. But it's been a lot worse lately. It's making it hard to get into the game, because even though I can always get back in right away, the log in process takes a while.

One problem with getting duplicate reports for the same issue is that when I search sometimes I don't find the latest reports about the issue, except for a bunch of expired posts about it. I can't find my own report, for instance, by searching "franchise disconnect," just a bunch of expired reports. It's not on the page of recently reported issues. So if someone were to go there with the same issue, they might not even find my report, and thus they'd make a different one.

I do know they sometimes respond to issues, even if it takes a while. I had one I'd had to report a couple of times before I got enough people to add to the ticket. It was one where a vet got stuck in one of my zoos, off the path outside a habitat where there was a dead animal they couldn't collect that was evidently haunting that corner of the zoo. It was a bit amusing, actually, as guests near that habitat would free in terror because of the "loose tapir" (which was lying dead in the habitat). The vet stood in the flowers by the habitat, muttering and threatening to quit, for years and years game time.

They did finally fix it, though I had kind of given up on that zoo by then. It would have fit in with the spooky twilight zoo theme rather well.
