Exploded my Cobra MK3, then... lost for ever???

Hi there :)

Just crushed my Cobra MK3 into the blue letter box whilst leaving the station... not a problem, would have cost me around 18k back, not the first time, but this time, the only choice it allows me, is to get a sidewinder... The weapons I had on the MK3 are greyd out, and the MK3 is not there...

What's going on? Normal? Station-depended? Bug ... ? tia :cool:

hloy patatoe :) Now I've bought a Cobra MK3 again due to the no assurance bug... mounted 4x Missile racks on it, hadn't any money to load them (THEY COME EMPTY?!) so I thought I'd go out for gold rush... and.... exploded into a ship outside the station hitting the boost button at a bad timing ^^

My first new clean start, with 2k credits and the sw :D :D :D

Long life to that game, how fast you can loose everything..... a fully armed Cobra MK3 and 290k, in 5 minutes :D

Feeling clostrophobic in the SW, have to fastly get credits to change that :) :) :)

This bug hit me once - it doesnt give you an insurance choice.. - you just simply get forced back into the sidewinder. Really annoying if you have to fly somewhere and drop another 3.3 million to get your Lakon9 back..

I've found a way to chart the most profitable one-way trips that always leave you ready to do another one-way at max value.. (never wasting time docking on chump-change docks) so I regain fast anyway..

Well, the only fastest way when lucky I got, is to gold rush the space... I need 2-3 gold rushs.... as I can only drop in 4 gold, making only +/-16k each drop... So the a hauler for again 2-3 gold rushs, which now gives each find a goo 40-50k... ^^ then the lakon T-6 for some trading routes up and down, found one where I make 40k one way down, 20k back way on it ^^

But so far, still sittin' in my sw, made some shooting tests, I guess I freaked the hell out to some pilots, as I was shooting IN the station at NPC, and twice by mistake 'hit' w/o destroying real commanders :D But, immediately went BOOM afterwards, thanks station lazers :)
