Exploration Annie tweak suggestions?

What about this Conda

For the price of 1.6 light years range you get 1000 mj of shields, enabling you to escape faceplanting into planets and escape most gankers.
You also get a vastly better heat efficiency and clean drives are useless anyways.
 
Really not worried about gankers. As long as I have a shield that can stand a pretty heavy landing, I'm happy with that.

Still playing about. All suggestions welcome.

Really this small tank is a bad idea; Anaconda is already a big fuel consumer. It might stop you from reaching certain places; if anything I would add more fuel storage. My explorer can jump 7-8 times without seeing a suitable star. This will be impossible with this build.
 
I would argue it's worth sacrificing a fraction of a LY off the jump range to get a bit bigger PP with Low Emissions for comfortable scooping. Armoured is not too bad, though. Just don't use Overcharged unless you are completely obsessed with min-maxing the jump range.
 
No boost. Need a boost. Also, not risking a smaller fuel tank.

Latest version with priorities sorted. Best I got, but I'm sure there are better.

Yeh, smaller tank is viable for Taxis, I wouldn't risk it in a full on exploration build.

I think that's the most important 'rule' for a build. :)

Last build was just to see how to get to an 80ly range ;)

a 24t fuel tank offers 3 full jumps. I don't think there is anywhere in our galaxy a place where you can't reach a scoopable within 480Ly if you inject all three :)

No, jumponium don't stack with ns boost...
 
I know what you're saying, but I know the stars are a bit scarce near the Formadine. I don't want to have to call the Rats. I think I'll drop the tank down and do a quick trek over to the Coalsack first. My build gets up to 79.86ly with a smaller tank. I wonder if I sand the paint off and dump the passenger seat....

Shame about the Jumponium.
