Greetings Commanders
I’m planning on setting out on a little solo exploration trip. The Galaxy Map is quite limited in ways it helps you navigate long distances. Does anyone have any tips for effectively plotting long routes other than looking along the line to your destination and picking a waypoint about 100Ly away? Are there any online real-world tools that might help me with Astrogation? As far as I can see the existing Elite Route Planners on the web only cover inhabited space.
I’d also welcome any general tips on surviving and making money from long-range exploration. My ship is kitted-out as follows:
ASP
Thanks Commanders
