Exploration bucket list

I'm somewhere in the outer Core on a meandering trip to Sag A* and I've got a list of things I must be the first to scan:

One of every star type - just missing a Wolf-Rayet and a Herbig B now. How many types of white dwarf are there?
13 Earthlike Worlds, named after the actors who've played the Doctor in Doctor Who - Up to no. 8, McGann
A ringed Earthlike
An Earthlike orbiting a neutron star
A nebula that no-one else has visited

Does anyone else go out with a bucket list?

Well I go out with a bucket ( must get that toilet fixed on the Asp before next trip)
.
There are 13 Dr Who's.....List them:eek:

Ooh, can I do that without looking them up?

Hartnell
Troughton
Pertwee
Baker (Tom)
Davison (my Doctor)
Baker (Colin)
McCoy
McGann
(Hurt)
Eccleston
Tennant
Smith
Capaldi

Yay. I can :)

(Although I'm not sure if I spelt all their names right, especially how many 'n's there in Tennant)

Cushing's not canon :p

Assorted randoms who've filled in for dead actors (e.g. bloke who did Hartnell in The Five Doctors) or done any of the various internet/radio bits don't count.

Cushin did 2 films......McGann only did 1
.
Peter Cushing (26 May 1913-11 August 1994) played the eccentric Dr. Who in two mid-1960s movies (Dr. Who and the Daleks and Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D.) based on the Doctor Who television series.

McGann's the 8th Doctor. Cushing is just some bloke* who played a similar character in a couple of films based on Dr Who.

* Also a fine actor who was in many other films that I absolutely love but that is not currently germane...

Cushing's Dr Who is a human inventor, not a Time Lord. The films are based on Dr Who, they have Daleks and they call the protagonist Dr Who but he was not The Doctor.

@Willa - bet you weren't expecting this when you brought up The Doctor ;)

Watch them again and pay attention to Cushing's character. Don't be seduced by a name, a Police Box or the presence of Daleks - he's not playing the Doctor of the TV series (and McGann's film). Who is actually a surname for Cushing's character - not a reflection of the question hidden in plain sight.
