I'm still holding out hope for a mid-range exploration ship (high FSD class to mass ratio). I would very much like to have an explorer with a Lakon cockpit, more internals than the AspX, but more maneuverable than the Anaconda, while retaining a similar jump range. I'd be in heaven.![]()
Totally off topic, but I am exploring in a type 6 (44ly max range) and it seems to meet most of those requirements (and it also has the highest fuel scoop size / fuel per jump FSD), making refueling a breeze. Very maneuverable, just doesn't have the +50 ranges... Plus it looks great:
This Thursday, 11-9-17, Ed Lewis will be doing a livestream with Anthony Ross, one of the devs who work with the Stellar Forge at Frontier. Hopefully we not only get some really good discussion and information, but also maybe some more sneak peaks of the beige cure coming in Q1 2018. Maybe even a few views from the surface with the Q1 version, now in technicolor?![]()
They can't afford to keep being tight lipped about what changes they're planning. This Q4 2018 updated should have been out Q4 2016. I'm not saying they should do what they do over on the SC camp, make hour long videos on how they design lips, but, they need to do something.I'm keeping my expectations low, I think they will be rather tight-lipped about what's to come - it will be rather a generic -albeit quite interesting- discussion about the structure and existing details of the stellar forge.

Also, I really-really hope, that Q1 won't mean end of March.
