Exploration content.

I personally would appreciate it if in future exploration content did not have its location announced on galnet just before a patch thus ensuring that the content was discovered before a large number of people even actually updated the game.

I felt this was badly done and basically removed the fun of exploration. Sure I could go search the system myself but the locations are on reddit within a couple of hours of going live. You may as well have just stuck nav beacons on the planet for the speed with which they were found.

Previous sites were implemented via in game clues and content....not simply handed out on a plate. Please return to this methodology.

IM sure that the intention of FDEV is not to restrict such content to those who happen to have updated as soon as the patch was released.

That's for Tourists not Explorers... Explorers find things themselves, things that don't have a visitors park a bar and one of those shops that sell novelty sticks of Rock!

Just don't read threads with reveals.

You can play the game without reading Reddit or even the forums, and avoiding threads with spoilers is pretty easy.

But yeah, more in-game information, news, clues, etc. would be an improvement. Some of the sites and finds to me were simply "against all odds", with players flying low over planets for hours looking for anomalies.

It's not a novelty stick of rock unless you have the word thargoid (insert alien race of your choice) written down the centre!
