News Exploration data server upgrade

As Mike mentioned there has been some additional issues with the exploration servers. We strongly advise that everyone stop exploring while we investigate.

Thanks Zac - I think we know that you know just how frustrated people are and the team are doing their best. No doubt you guys are just as frustrated....

It's times like this I'm glad it's not a subscription model - there'd be a lot of noise about getting free game time in lieu of the lost game time due to this.

Really appreciate the effort, guys!

On the other hand 'Stop exploring' is the contrary to what was said yesterday. I seriously hope you can restore us this exploration data, even on an 'per account' basis as this is extremely annoying. Just happy ED is not subscription based as you would get a lot of background noise here

Currently about 4.5K Ly from Sol (well.. currently at work.. but..).
I also found that I had some exploration data errors yesterday and logged out to play some WoT.
Do I have to make a ticket regarding to the loss of scanned data, or will it be enough to wait a while till it has been fixed.
I`m a lazy explorer and don`t write everything down where I`ve been. Also I don`t make a screenshot of every system I`ve been. I shure hope that Frontier has all that data saved somewhere (and can retrieve it).
Still find it very sad that stuff like that is not visable in the system/star map in any way or form.

I want to be informed by the game itself in cases of such serious problems.

In the past, I remeber being pinged by the game while playing it, telling me to logg-off, since an update was imminent. You FD guys should think of this messaging system for mayor bugs found and being live/under investigation and display it on the game's main menu, not everone has the time (and/or will) to go through the tedious messages and bug reports on this forum to decide which one is crucial and applicable for him/her. In fact, I don't want to spend time on forums at all, I want to play the game! If not possible due to major bugs, it seems FD is capable of messaging it's user if it wants to. Technically, it seems to be possible.
