Exploration Discovery Pages with zero value.

Asteroid belts aren't worth anything and now they auto-resolve, so I guess if you're revisiting systems you'd scanned with the ADS you'll just be getting the belt discoveries added.
Think about all that information flying about. On some level the server is registering every single scan isnt it? Checking and sending back to the client? I wonder if that load is making the freezing issues worse.
Doubt it, Passive discovery has always been a thing.
I'm talking about FSS scanning an unresolved planet, and coming up with a discovery page value of zero, when I return to any station. I've done 19 object systems, and have been paid zero for turning them in. I was wondering if systems you have already mapped get re-scanned with the new FSS, but you get no reward because you were already there, or have I got a problem?
Instead of just hitting "Sell Page", hover over each entry and see what it's about. Odds are you have a bunch of 0CR Belts. If not, then you might have a problem.
Right now I have the planet LHS 64 A 2 listed in my UC page. Underneath it, it says "- Detailed Surface Scan". For zero credits. I just picked it up pulling into a station I've been to many times. But, I get the screen message that I have discovered LHS 64 A 2. Put down in the station, I see the above. This all but proves that I am re-discovering stuff with the new scanner, stuff I have previously registered, and getting no reward.
I am totally fine with that, I just want to know if this is happening to others, and is it how it is supposed to be?

Not in the way it is now. You jump in a system now and it can spend considerable time reading out lines of discoverys the player doesnt care about or take any part in. Nobody bothered to scan belts before cause there is no point.

Me too mate. ED is having a fine 'ol time trolling me with half pages of 0.00Cr exploration data these days.
Do you suspect it is old data? Are you getting this from familiar systems?
One way to find out,
1) Fly a sidewinder
2) fly to a nav beacon/combat zone etc... etc....
3) pick a fight with a Wanted Ship
4) lose the fight and all old data will be wiped
That's how I reset all my data when I first started out.

Those 0 credits systems are ones you have already honked and got paid for. When you honk the same system again, they reregister, but with 0 credits. This is a bug.
