After two long trips to the core and travelling approximately 100,000 light years, I've finally reached my main goal: Elite in Exploration!
It was quite a relaxed journey, no really dangerous things have happened apart from a few emergency stops at neutron stars and almost running out of fuel 3 times.
Stats:
The most memorable system I've come across had nine potentially habitable planets:
2 Earth-like worlds
2 terraformable water worlds
5 terraformable high metal content planets
+1 neutron star
Payout with first discovery bonus was 712k CR
A very nice side effect of all that exploration data was that I could get all the independent permits (the ones that do not need navy rank) without any extra effort.
I could just sell 5.3 million CR of data to the controlling minor faction to become allied with them and get the permit instantly. So now I have all currently obtainable permits as a bonus.
Next up: Elite in Trading! (in anticipation of patch 1.5, gotta hoard more cash and buy all the new fancy ships!)
