Wouldn't it be cool to have player corporations or factions. But one thing I would love is a shared Expedition. I made my way from Cubeo (my home AO) to Maia and made 3 mil just scanning on the way. It was not the most fun but some of the sights were cool. Then I was thinking a great thing for factions would be to launch expeditions in huge systems with 40+ astronomic bodies. And when they scan one you get the info too. Maybe that's a thing with wings already. Never explored in a group before. But I was just thinking to do that as a group and share the profit findings.

I saw this before leaving for home and was thinking a bit on this. After getting over the inital dread I have any time I see someone say, 'wouldn't it be cool if...' and almost always ends up with some spectacular fail on people's hands.... I know it works... well, sort of... with Multicrew. But Explorers on the whole are a sort of solitary, pandhandling type of personality that might like the company during the mission (if it's by communication), but generally don't like sharing the money and certainly not the first discovered by credit.
Tourists on the other hand love party boats. Anything to keep themselves from going through the space madness.
The thing is that there's way too much cherry picking going on outside the bubble. Not to mention butt-tons of double dipping along the Road to Riches....
How would this suggestion help improve the haphazard and cherry picking going on within the galaxy?

Well the first discovered will go to the title of the expedition. But I just thought it would be a good way for Co-Op exploring. But ho hum. Now reading it's a terrible idea. Back to Mordor.
