Exploration feedback

To the developers:

It'd be nice to see more unidentified signal sources and more variety to said sources while exploring. The only source type I have ever found on multiple trips to unpopulated space are Degraded Emissions Detected, and they have always had just survey caches. It would be nice to come across a little bit more in deep space than just more planets to scan unless you're just going for realism. If that's the case then I would just suggest upgrading the scanners to present-day tech levels so I can detect potential volcanic activity from orbit without having to fly around a planet surface and look manually like it's the dawn of the flight era or something. Oh, and I really like the scenic highway you guys built going from the main populated area to Colonia. You guys should do more stuff like that. Beagle Point's been visited enough to justify the same treatment I would think. I'm surprised that's not a galactic park by now. That's all for now other than the suggestion before about planetary scan missions coming in non-criminal flavors too. And thanks for the passenger missions! They're a great way to start out exploring and good money too. Got my Anaconda in less than two weeks with those and I didn't even have to stack missions like I was told!

Signal sources used to be much more common out in the deep black, but players complained that it was unrealistic to be stumbling across canisters of Tea 50kLY from Sol, so FDev changed the distribution so that they peter out at around 5-6kLYs. Out to about 1kLY you can find Degraded USSs containing Occupied Escape Pods and various bits of cargo/mats, plus the occasional Distress Call, but beyond that it's pretty much always survey caches.
