Exploration: Fuel dump function

It would be very handy to be able to dump a certain amount of fuel (manually set in ship's menu) as there are times out in the black when you have to do this one precisely calculated long jump and burning fuel by jumping to another system and back is not so accurate.

Why not kill two birds with one stone? Add the ability drop fuel by the ton as a cargo canister so you can transfer it to stranded friends.
