Exploration. The Final Frontier.
Well, for me. I'm a backer and I've been playing since launch on XBox; I've done it all, with exploration being the final 'thing' left to do in a meaningful capacity. I did the 5,000Ly for Palin, which I really didn't enjoy at all (probably because it was a means to an end).
However. This time it's different. I'm only about 6,000Ly out at the moment but enjoying it much more this time. I did a 'second star to the left, on 'til morning' thing. Will see if I can stomach a few months in the black and come back with enough data for Elite explorer.
I'm just wondering, have the devs said if there are any little treats sprinkled out there? I don't necessarily means along the lines of the Alien Ruins/Thargoids that will be fleshed out in the months and years to come, but perhaps little 'set pieces' like a random and diserted alien space stations through to Dyson Spheres etc.
I don't recall anyone finding anything outside of Thargoid/Rift related plots (other than a few bits of life like the 'Brain Trees', which is the kind of low level thing I'm driving at)?
