Exploration help

Not played for a while so forgive me if there is a thread already there which helps, could not easily fond one.

How the hell does exploration work now? I've entered Supercruise, reduced throttle, pressed B to enter a scanning mode and then I seem completely unable to do anything in that screen, even exiting that screen is defeating me

Help .... is there a tutorial somewhere?

Theres a new Frontier training video actually. It will be your bindings not being set.

Have you checked key binds? I had to define all of them again last night even though I played the beta (bindings get shared between beta/live) so somehow they got lost.

Also make sure to honk as before prior to using the FSS, as that populates it with bodies/USS's to find.

But relax - it’s a lot to take in if you haven’t played for a while. You don’t have to be master in a day. I am still learning myself.
