my space exploration list contains a mix of rush, disturbed, system of a down, rolling stones, gorillaz, johhn cash, pendulum, knife party, tenacious-d, ozzy/blacksabbath, cage the elephant, foster the people, sheldon allman and duane and brando.. and yes I'm aware that that puts everything in the playlist all over the map.

Phillip Glass, Metamorphosis. You may recognize it as the sojourn music of the human diaspora in BSG. It got me to Sgr A* and back and help keep me sane in the process. Hope you enjoy it too ;)

Mass Effect Trilogy OST, Deus Ex: Human Revolution OST, 60-90s classic/hard rock, Two Steps From Hell, Audiomachine, Command & Conquer OST, LotR trilogy OST, the list goes on...

It's usually running with my stream. :)

I listen to the Interstellar soundtrack to create mood or switch to Seasick Steve if I want to tap my foot when flying.

Legend of Zelda 25th anniversary orchestral version, skyrim OST, FTL:Faster then Light OST, Various theme tunes on a spotify playlist (inc. Star Wars and Star Trek themes) and When Im in a weird mood its Weird Al Yankovic

Eve Online soundtrack, there a 6 hour video of the Eve music on YT. God that music brings back some fantastic memories, end up zoning out on nostalgia and hitting planets half the time.

Okay, I'm officially strange.
I don't usually have music playing in the background when I'm exploring. I listen to the sounds of the world on the system map and when I'm in supercruise.

I just pop this in on repeat and explore, explore, explore

EDIT: Or come to think of it I did listen to this a couple of times while exploring. This particular piece (Or at least heavily edited version of this) was actually used in one of the debut elite trailers.
