the one he has selected would be a near perfect earthlike world.

it's volcanism is silicate vapor geysers, doesn't sound too bad compared to like lava

it's angle is 169 deg but that doesn't really do anything being as there's no up in space

i think it's far enough removed that the factions would have to work together to some extent to expand; if it happened it could temporarily ease the faction's relations through player input. to become a space-faring civilization with this level of sophistication the factions must have originally been united

at least, before the empire has ships full of gold flying around the place and try to take over the entire expansion

The best explanation I can think of on why a planet's name is dfferent from the rest of the planet is the planet used to be a rogue planet. It happened to enter the system and got caught by the star's gravity in a stable orbit so now, it is part of the system.
