Exploration needs a buff

Just got back from 120k ly trip. I originally left when the Enigma Expedition started. Handed in my scans. Btw handing in page after page is absolutely brutal. Fdev please come up with a better way.

Anyway before I left I picked up a pilot cause I like to fly fighters on planets. 9 percent commission. (She had a good story)Now this pilot made 367 million credits and I made just over 70 million.

I'm disappointed even though I enjoyed my trip and this wasn't no small trip. So either something went seriously wrong with payouts or exploration needs a serious buff.

I had to synth my amfu like 5 times. Just an example of the distance I traveled. And I scanned a serious amount of systems.

Was a kick in the teeth or that's what it felt like. Anyway I'll be back just a bit salty.

How is it possible that your NPC (or human) fighter pilot made more (367M) with 9% commission than you (70M) ?!

Report that if it's the case... coz it's a severe bug then.

When you came back, you should have fired that NPC pilot, then cash in.

Did you only do level one scans? Or did you scan any planets? If you did travel that much you should have made around 500+ million.

That doesn't seem right cmdr.

Iv just done a 5k LY trip, I'm still selling off my data, that bit doesn't bother me as I spread my data selling around to get Allied with as many bases as I can. i reckon that Iv made around 30 mil from this trip, which was mainly going to already discovered systems, so probably only a few 1st discovery bonus's.
Find it hard to understand that a 120k LY trip yields so low a reward, unless you've mainly honked, scooped & then legged it!

My style of exploring includes scanning all but Asteroids & Rock/Ice worlds & I'll go that 500k LS to get to that 2nd 3rd or 4th Sun & planets.

Your not telling me that from this trip your pilot made 367 mil from a 9% commission? & you've only made 70 mil? that's not 9%. Iv had one pilot with me @ 5% commission, since FD launched the fighters & pilots, I don't think he's got that kind of figure from me & iv took him to Beagle Point & back!

Yup from what I saw that's what my pilot made and was a new pilot also. I've been to the center many times and back and have made well over 300 mill. Per trip.

Something don't feel right about this trip and the time spent to reward I feel has changed. I'm not a new explorer or a new player. I don't scan systems that have been scanned before I find my own.

I was pumped about my return to see how much cash I made so I could buy a chieftain and A rate it. After months out in black landing on cool moons 60k ly out I somehow made 70 mill profit.

Tbh I was expecting 600 plus mill when I handed in my scans.

Yes, it needs to have a buff. And that will likely lead to an exploit, and then exploration will be taken out of the game... This all needs to happen very soon as I'm overwhelmed by the choices and demand a simpler game.
