A new type of ship, a station/ship that can be flown out to the hinter lands and parked in orbit to act as a frontier station for basic needs until the game catches up with the exploration.

Book marks for the galactic and system maps.

The galactic map should be able to store and recover your cores data if you log out or get kicked from the game.

It needs small scientific research outposts, these offer simple repairs and refueling. By repair I mean they can't fix everything but it might get you back.

Being that us players have been almost everywhere surely its possible that a station or two could be built for scientific purposes or just some weird commune etc

Mining needs things.
The whole game needs more things.

Devs know this, and they are constantly working on bringing new things. They have plans. Plans within plans.
