Exploration question...

hehe yes that is my problem also. there are so many controls that I thought I might have missed it but ty for confirmation.

You can make a note of the number of systems you have visited before you set off on your trip and then at the end of your trip the statistics will then show you how many systems you have visited in total, subtracting the current systems visited total in the statistics panel from the number of systems you noted before the trip started - this will give you the total number of systems visited on your voyage. It doesn't show how many objects you have scanned, but at least gives you a pointer of the base number of systems visited.

You could of course keep a manual tally or a log, but the above way means I only have to save one number at the start of the trip and take that off the total in the statistic panel at the end of the trip (or during the trip).

The whole stat thing needs to be beefed up and is a major thing on most explorers wish's list. :(

As already stated, there's no way of knowing until you return.

When I first set off I wished that there was a way of seeing what I'd made so far, but the further out I got the less it mattered and I'm glad you can't and hope it will remain that way. I feel it adds to the whole mystery and unknown to the exploring experience.

Sorry.... misread the question... Doh!

Although again, as other have stated unfortunately not.

I keep a log through BPC, which a few updates back had an Exploration Log added to the Flight tab, I then make notes of anything I find of interest and record Earth-Likes, Water Worlds etc against the system they're discovered in.
