Given that in 2.2 we will be getting remotely operated fighters and that the SRV turret is remotely viewed.
I propose to FD that they make available some remote prospector drones to be operated from the SRV say with a limited 5km range and that said drone has the same wave scanner tech fitted to it, maybe a 20-30 minute flight time? but could be recoverable by your SRV should you find it again. Fuel and repairs could be carried out by same materials mechanics we all ready have
These would be handy when at the bottom of a canyon for instance that you could have a peak up the cliff face to see if said materials are actually reachable (rather than my srv tumbling down the cliff again
) and worth the risk.
Maybe you could have two per SRV?
It'd be a nice addition also for scouting out bases and gaurded places.
