Exploration still bugged?

Hi,

I got myself a diamondback explorer and decided to head for the center of the galaxy just to see what's out there.

I'm just 917 ly from SOL and I'm already getting server transaction errors.

Guess long distance exploration is still bugged and this so called "massive galaxy" is really a massive lie.

I wish they'd fix this, I mean we're at version 1.4 already.

I would guess that is just the servers acting up for the moment. I haven't been that close to Sol since the launch of 1.3, and things have mainly gone smoothly for me. I haven't played today, though.

Having troiubles exploring aswell. Sometimes I need to scan a system three times to actually see/update all the planets. :(

Hmm, never had this problem myself, though I never really go beyond a couple thousand light years.

I wonder if it is related to server load (since this is one of the parts that isn't P2P and communicates with a Frontier (Amazon) server). Are you exploring during peak times? I'll admit, I only ever explore very late at night in the US when activity is dwindling.

It's just server problems which have been troublesome for a couple of months. Though tonight it seemed worse to me. Once or twice I had three or four scans of objects before I got the data. I usually pretend it is because of the length of time I've been out and damage my ship has suffered through accidents. :)
