[Exploration] Taurus Dark Region Expedition

Just finished a trip that took me to the Taurus Dark Region, up to HIP 25561 to hunt down my first black hole, and then back to Tsu for shots of Jack Daniels. Oh and I took plenty of pictures using the fancy new Debug Camera.

I originally planned to just fly straight into the TDR, take a couple of photo shoots, and roll back to Tsu. However, when I got near the TDR I found out that you cannot actually jump inside of it due to there being no systems... It really is a "Dark Region" :D. So after a quick hop around the TDR taking photos here and there I decided to head upwards into the HIP 25561 system to hunt for my first in-game black hole. After fully exploring this system I took a leisurely route back to Tsu (for the Exploration Community Goal) by going through other systems with black holes. All-in-all I traveled a little over 1,250ly and make about 1 million credits for my efforts. It was my first successful exploration trip in my shiny new ASP, that wasn't cut short by a competition. I believe the default key-binding is "F10", although that may just be what I changed it to. Check under the Miscellaneous tab in your control settings screen. You can also access your Debug Camera toggle in the same section of the key-bindings page.

F10 for screen shots and if you check though your controls you can find the debug cam that will allow you to take pictures of your ship. it's a little clunky and best not done anytime you need to be in full control of the ship, but allows you to take pictures without having bits of your cockpit in the way.

I was flying through there last night on the way to the Orion nebula. It seems a well travelled route, but there still might be some unexplored corners

I originally made my ASP's maiden voyage out to the Eskimo Nebula, but then the Titan Black competition got me excited enough to come back and hunt down that ~$1000 graphics card. Took a couple pictures on that trip though...

Lmao. I'm currently heading out to a system with dual Neutron Stars that are in very close proximity. I'll have to remember not to fly through them xD

Just recently got a good photo of a trinary star system, and the stars were all within 1,000ls of each other.
