Exploration trip on hold

I have been forced to take that annual planet side exploration trip with the nearest and dearest.
I'm telling you land based travel sucks commanders. This is no joke I travelled a little over 300km, and you will never guess how long it took.
7 hours, I jest not, 7 high stress, spawn screaming, mind numbing, tear inducing hours. That's like going to Hutton and back, realising you left you mug behind and having to go back to get it, in a sidewinder with the wife and kids when the life support thinks you might be a bit chilly and turns the heaters on full.

Anyway finally docked and I have my Hutton Mug full of relaxant, in fact I have half a chilled cargo container full of them.



I'm probably going to be a bit of a forum junky for the next few days as this laptop just cant take it.

M4, M5 nightmare, at least the kids got to look at the river Avon as we went over the bridge, for about half an hour.

and its raining.....for a week.....

Kids man, sent to test you, but you just cant stay angry, you cant laugh if you're angry and thats what they make you do. Even if you are in Tesco and the youngest is shouting suck muck duck f### luck, on repeat, then, 'those words all rhyme Daddy, yes they do well done....'

Just returned from mine and back in my Cobra.

I feel your pain (at least we didn't have much in the way of traffic either way).

They do all rhyme though...

Had a nice day on the beach today, weatherman said it was raining, but he was wrong. Glorious sunshine, relatively few arguments and tears, quick trip to Paignton for spot on fish and chips for tea, kids in bed, editing photos sloooowly on the wifes laptop..

Oh an does anyone know why we have wasps, do they serve a purpose?

No more camping or vacations for me until the fall. All the time in the world to jump and scan.
Of course, the reason I can't go camping is that the entire west coast of North America is on fire. From California to Northern British Columbia. At least it isn't affecting the internet.
