Exploration: What are you looking for?

Personally I'm looking for a system with a black hole, a regular star and an Earth-like planet in it. (Would be kinda cool to watch the gravitational lensing at sunset every once in a while.) Also an Earth-like planet orbiting a gas giant would be nice.

How about you? What are you looking for?

I'm looking for ancient ruins, abandoned alien starships, exotic life forms never before encountered, Captain Kirk, esoteric isotopes, and Thargoids. So far no luck but I have gone to the center of the galaxy, found a number of neutron stars and black holes, and lots of earthlike worlds. Oh, and an ammonia planet.

Based on the increasing amount of PvP I may never return to civilized space.

There is a theory of a Moebius, a twist in the fabric of space where time becomes a loop, time becomes a loop, time becomes a loop

Just Stuff. Still not found an ELP or even a Black Hole, but will be meeting the Daddy in a couple of days.

Most disappointed with my first Carbon Star. Looks big and red. Scan says it a Type S, which is "on its way to becoming a Carbon Star". That doesn't count as a Carbon Star in my book.

I had a similar experience recently. A star looked massive and bright yellow on the galaxy map, and on arrival was a vast dim pink ball more like an S class, but scanning revealed it to be a carbon star.
