Perhaps I missed it.

But, as I outfit my type 6 to begin my maiden journey into the unknown, I've decided to keep an exploration journal.

I feel like perhaps a separate forum category for such things would be a nice addition, no?

No, you haven't missed it, there isn't one.

There are quite a few threads around from others who have kept a journal whilst exploring, or who have posted one upon their return.

Not 100% sure about a sub forum, guess it wouldn't hurt, but then you fall into the argument why not one for Trading, Bounty Hunting, Mining etc....

True. So how about just one sub forum for "Storytelling" or something along those lines. I know there's a fiction forum but thats not quite the right spot for something like I intend.

I think you've only got the following options: -

1) Keep a log here in Dangerous Discussions, and possibly after making your introduction post make a few more to your original to reserve additional post slots immediately underneath, or just simply add to it as you go.

2) Post here; https://forums.frontier.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=31 I see there's already one there by a Commander heading off to Sagittarius A (https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=120030)

3) Post in the sub-forum of the above "Lore & Roleplay" https://forums.frontier.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=64 haven't checked but there could be some logs in there.

related question: will planets with terraform potential actually be tagged as such or do you just infer it by the payout or some sort of visual tell? i ask because i've scanned a pretty fair amount of bodies and don't recall EVER seeing anything explicitly described as such.

They are tagged in thier description on the left side of the system map.

i guess i missed it since i rarely double check in the system map after i scan everything.
on that note, though, ARE there visual tells that you can use to judge if something should be a terraform candidate before you scan it?
