I want to try exploring a little bit. I was wondering what you do when you get far far out at the edge of the galaxy and you want to go home.. Do you self destruct?
Certainly no. If you self destruct, you lose all your exploration data. If you have got to the edge of the galaxy, that data will be worth several millions.
Hmm.. So you actually have to travel all the way back?
HeeHeeSelf destruct is the LAST thing on an explorers mind.
So you can save and exit while in space? You don't have to be in a station?
Thanks
Indeed, I think that might be a fairly common misconception... you can safely log out while you're not in combat. I'd guess the OP thought otherwise too.
Don't black holes just overheat you like a star? If you really have this, PLEASE link it.When I traveled to the center of our galaxy I did not want to put another 26 hours in traveling back. So I took the quick way back and started bounty hunting / trading again.
The biggest issue with traveling that far is that you are locked to exploring. You can not combine it with other gameplay. Until we get multiple profiles...
I do have a video of my Asp being crushed by the blackhole there. How many people can say that![]()
