Explorers, does your ship have a name?

Hi all,

I have named my asp after the great man Patrick Moore.
I haven't yet come up with a name for my anaconda, but I'm curious, have you named your ship?

I named my Cobra "No Stranger to Danger", but I haven't come up with a name for my Asp yet.

Yes I have. My Asp Explorer goes by the name of "The Northern Light". A couple of reasons, one is a song that reminds me of home (The Northern Lights of Old Aberdeen) and the other is I've always been fascinated by the Northern Lights.

All my ships have names:

ISS TERRA NOVA is my Anaconda
ISS DARKSUN is my Asp(E)
ISS VALYRIAN is my Python
ISS LOKI is my Cobra Mk IV

I name my ships after some piece of music that I like, so my exploration 'conda is the Moonlight Sonata, my general purpose bubble Clipper the Blue Danube, and my planned FDL will be called Bad To the Bone. And, of course, the trading Cutter will be the Kyle's Mom

I've only named my Anaconda, the Asp I used to get to SagA* is hangared up somewhere and I've never even SEEN the Cobra MkIV I have somewhere else.

The 'conda is called The Grey Ghost (which is what the GG in my gaming nick means). I may buy other ships but I'm not sure if any of them will be named. I'll see if I like them enough to

my asp is black and my python's white, hence the names (sig)
all the others are named after insects mostly for their purposes or general looks.

my explonda was called MS Bloom. the next current one engineered will be called MS Robinson, when outfitted.

my exploration AspEs have been named "Changing Perspectives" (the first one, now sold) and Jia O. (now a miner).

my beloved DBE is called Kaiko. i fly it most of the tme in 2.1. - its mods make up for its weakenesses, and i love the DBE.

All 29 of my ships have names, but my Asp Explorer is named "Cousteau" after Jacques Cousteau the great ocean explorer. I grew up watching his exploits on television.

My Diamondback Explorer is named Brimstone after the yellow Brimstone moth the basic ship's shape & paintjob resemble.

And my ASP Explorer (I expect to buy it in a couple of months, when I set course back to the civilized space) will be named Kwizatsz Haderach

Waldovenison's Sidey is called the "One Armed-Badger" because it holds his sandwiches and his newly acquired Adder is called the "Three-legged Donkey" because it's not quite useless.

Asp is called Diamond Dog, because it's diamond shaped with a dogs head as cockpit.
T-6 also has a name.
Conda is nameless, but because it lacks so much character I might name it: "Rotokas".

Would be interested to know what the ship that discovered Beagle Point was called?
