Isn't Polaris still closed off by permit?...
I have taken a short break from exploration and went to Leesti, George Lucas station to buy rares with my blockade runner Cobra. My blockade running skills proved lacking as I was immediately interdicted by a 2-CMDR wing of players... one Vulture and..something.. One of them bumped my shields most provocatively, but after a short scan and chat they left to go on their merry way. Not sure if they were pirates or bounty hunters since I was clean and my hold empty.
I managed to get into the station with no problems, and loaded up on rares, went to Diso to top off the cargo hold with rare corn, then soared across inhabited space and sold it at all at great profit.

My shiny new Asp is currently parked in LHS-something, in exploration configuration.. ready to go when the Void Calls Again...

Problem is, In ED you go there expecting this:

I wish they did something with exploration... I have no idea how it could be improved but it's getting kinda boring after scanning 2k systems and getting a feeling that you've seen everything.
