Exploring already found systems?

Hi folks,

Anyone else finding UNEXPLORED systems and discovering items and scanning everything only to find they were already FOUND? I have found loads like this and why they are not in the system as already discovered with the perps name on it?

How in Heck can we be called explorers if the items we find are already found and we are REDISCOVERING stuff.

Just saying what's the point?

Because otherwise you would get no payout at all for going all the way to say, the orion nebula, where nearly everything has been discovered just because it is a tourist hotspot.

You want unexplored, period? Pick some direction that does not have a nebula within 3000 light years. Guarantee no one has been that way. Most people seem to go sightseeing rather than towards the empty regions.

I found this less than 50 ly from Hip 110620:

So there are undiscovered things close by, but you have to be lucky to find them.

since space is so large i doubt we've been in every direction since start of game. the most surefire way to get unexplored systems is to visit every system in a particular volume of space rather than going out in one direction.
