Exploring Bucket List

Hello all fellow explorers,

I recently returned to Elite Dangerous after 7 months away from the Universe. I've tried a little of everything the game has to offer atm, but I've ended up with the same thing as I loved the last time around, exploring. After flying a few thousand LY's at random, I would like a little more purpose on my way. So I look to you guys. I would like help to create the Ultimate Explorer Bucket List, ie stuff that you guys love about exploring. There must be loads of places to visit and stuff to explore that I never even thought about. Please help me with this list :) I've added some suggestions that I would like on a bucket list, but your input is needed to create the best possible bucket list. The order on a bucket list is of no importance at all, number 1. is just as important as number 100.

Updated with suggestions, now counting 129 things to do :).

39/40 are one and the same.

This also doesn't seem to include binaries, so you could add things such as binary ELW, WW, AW, Binary of either of the three and as one person has discovered (so far as I have seen), a trinary orbit of all 3.

Best I've found is a binary ELW and a trinary with a ELW, TFC WW and TFC HMC.

Great idea CMDR

Adds purpose to your exploration which is a good thing when you have been in the black for awhile

Nice list! I have a lot of them but still have a number of nebulae outstanding. Probably missing a few stars to, don't think I've seen a DQ Dwarf Star yet...

Some ideas for additions:
* Spider - Travel as far as you can to the end of each galactic arm (I suggest one list item per named galactic arm)
* Long Legs - Visit a star that's >39.5 away from it's neighbors (using a partially empty fuel tank)
* Extrovert - Get a joint discovery tag on a system with at least one other explorer (just noticeed Cap n Smash suggested the same thing. Great minds think alike) :)
* Grafitti Artist - Tag a star 500Ly from the primary
* Astronomer - Trilaterate a star into the EDDM/ESDM database (Can be done from EDDiscovery)
* Lassie - Rescue or assist an a rescue of an explorer who has run out of fuel
* Expat - Submit an Earth Like World discovery to the EL thread
* Planetary Fluff - Visit a generated planetary nebula (I'd say "discover" but theres finite supply)
* Mountain Climber - Visit the galactic ceiling
* Deep Sea Diver - Visit the galactic floor
* Demolitionist - Self-destruct 5,000Ly from home

I've taken the liberty of inviting names for the achievements. If you decide adopt naming the items, feel free to rename them if you come up with better names... ;)

Everything and anything!

In fact, the top of my bucket list is to make it back at some point... I'm on a long journey right now ;)

I normally have an end point in mind, currently one of the end of a spiral arm. But journey more important than the destination to me and much to enjoy.
Even more so when Horizons released and I get my VR kit :)

130: C-Note Club: Discover a system with 100+ bodies in it (ultra rare).
131: Masochist: Fly 10+ Kylies in a Vulture or Fer de Lance.
132: Participate in the Buckyball Sag A* Challenge.

Quick suggestion: gas giants with water and ammonia-based life aren't "very rare" - they're not as common as normal gas giants, but are also not as rare as some other gas giant types (water giants and helium rich are definitely a lot more rare than those with life). So I'd amend the rarity on those.
