Exploring for the Alliance

Hey all

I just have a minor question, but I hope someone can help me out.

While reading about exploration in the newest newsletter (39) I came across this:

"...Getting such information back to a civilised planet with a data claim registration facility (most Federal or Imperial worlds with a high enough population will have one) and logging the data earns money for the explorer...".

That sounds all good and fine, but will there not be such a facility for the Alliance faction? I plan to make exploration my main vocation under the flag of the Alliance when the game comes out, trying to help that faction expand and grow. Now if they don't even have a registration office to deliver exploration info to, I can't do that. I'm hoping it was just an oversight in the newsletter, but can someone set us Alliance explorers straight about the registrar?

Damn I am getting old I started thinking "For the Horde" when I read this post.:D

I think they were merely listing examples of who might buy such information. I very much doubt it is limited to just two factions. From what I read, it will also be possible to sell the information to other players. That alone opens up all sorts of possibilities.

I hope so that's the route I was planning on going.

Besides we all know the Alliance already did some long range exploring right ;) remember how FFE ended? :D
