Exploring mechanichs.

Hi, Im kinda new at the game and starting explore a while ago, now these are my questions:

1 - The Universal Cartographics I can sell them just once? or several times?

2 - The System that I scan, other players see them like "unknown"? or are they able to buy the data I recollected?

originally we were supposed to be able to sell the info to different factions but run the risk of a reputation loss. Does not seem to have been implemented yet.

i can buy system info but not sure of the behind the scene mechanics of how that information is derived. When the game was in gamma virtually everywhere was unexplored.
