Exploring - Sell data at any station?

Everywhere I've ever been has the cartographic section including illegal pirate outposts.
It's a none bubug since 1.05.. if you go to the game bug section there's pages and pages or people who can't sell data..
for the time being I wouldn't waste energy on exploring.

I think they may have fixed the carto bug a couple days ago. I've been able to explore and sell with no problems.
I've had situations where some stations/systems will buy my data for certain systems, but not others.
I wonder if this has something to do with the stations already having enough data for a system that they don't need/want more.
I generally just keep trying to sell at each station I encounter and eventually one will buy my data.

I suspect that you did what i did first time. You need to target your new unexplored object and make sure the little yellow rolly icon on the left finishes and shows that it has finished the scanning process and it is in your ships computer. Only then will you have data to sell. I have been doing this for about three days now with no problems

Exploring/scanning isn't the easiest thing to work out without a guide. I spent two weeks doing the targeting bit but know didn't anything about the discovery scanner! I was flying round old school just picking out the largest moving objects against the backdrop, the joy of being able to just fire off a quick scan to find all the small stuff nearby!
Nah, it's broken for me too and I have been doing it for weeks now. Get the blue object pop up. Scan it for about 20 seconds till it gives you a name and type of space you are in. Get to a station and scroll down to the bottom. No data to sell.
It was broken a few days ago with a data error in the top right info hud panel. That was fixed. But it looks like basic scanning is broken. I've tried on about 6 planets in the last 24 hours. None of them registered in the cartographic office at stations.

You can, I've done it numerous times.
I can confirm this for one of the systems I scanned during a long trade run yesterday.
I did a discovery scan that discovered multiple bodies within an unknown system and the data never showed up in UC as a sellable trade object.
The discovery data for system bodies of other systems showed up without any problems however
There are three things you can do in this game: find stuff for money, shoot stuff for money, and move stuff for money. Find stuff for money is broken with 11 days to release.
Ok where are you guys in relation to the highly traveled areas? I got a harebrained theory.

The reason I am asking is because I had to see if I could duplicate the issue. Just sold info for 10 systems for 132k. Nothing went missing as far as I can tell. Thing is, I am out on the periphery of inhabited space. Now I DID have trouble occasionally before I came out here. In this case, I verified no exploration data was available for the systems I explored before I went to them... and it appears I am the only person out here. Did you take note as to whether the exploration data was available for sale for the systems you explored? I'm wondering if you guys were just late for the party on some of the systems.

If the systems are already explored but the astronomical bodies say "Unexplored" when you find them then it's still a game-breaking bug, as far as exploration is concerned, albeit a different one from not being able to sell the data.
